Same thing as those $69 specials from a few years ago. The one I had is long gone. They will rust and rot through in a year.
I have heard of people that coated them in that spray truck bed liner and similar things. Extremely flimsy too.
Agreed not a good choice for Ku, and not much better for C in NA.

Oh wow the $69 Robby special those things were trash if you ask me.

If the cell phone providers get what they want I’m scared to see what size dishes with mods and the crazy amount of filters we are going to need to get Cband signals.

Well i gave it a try and it's not so bad! I got a few c band channels but not much. It performed just like my 4ft geosatpro with a conical scalar ring. Except this one you have to use a flat scalar. 91w byu is definately the strongest signal i could pick up. Haven't tried it on ku yet. I wish i got a 6 footer but they are expensive. This was 140$ cad shipped from hong kong and it arrived in 4 days! 30$ for customs, but that's not bad.

Don't even bother with the 6ft dish. Minimum you should even consider is a 7.5 or 8 footer. With DVB-S2 and higher, you need all the help you can get. Plus, the larger the dish the tighter the beam so it doesn't get interference from another sat next to the one you are aimed at.

All that said, try 99w on this 4ft dish. Maybe even a Titanium PLL LNBF.

Well after playing with this dish for a few weeks now, the most interesting channel i picked up is byu on 91w. It has the strongest signal and most stable too. Sometimes i get cw but i need more then 50% on my sathero to be able to watch it. I was also able to get the lesea mux on 99w but it was barely stable at 38-39%. 97w i got the azteca mux, amg, the walk, latv. 101 i could get decades. 107w i got the weather network. 125w tbn. Any other sats i should try?

you might be able to get some channels on 58W and 55.5W, Also maybe HipTV on 37W. And the Saskatchewan mux on 111W

also if you insert a dielectric plate you might be able to get some stuff on 47.5W and 40.5W

I was able to pick up nhk on 58w, barely at 37-38% but the picture was stable.

couldn’t get the mux on 111w.

What frequency should i try on 121?

etlam34, could you please take more pictures of the dish. I’m thinking of buying one of eBay for Ku. Did you test Ku on this dish yet?

Try Anik F1 at 107.3 - on my 1.2 minibud I can get a bunch of things like the weather channel mux, Halifax CTV2, I think some French channels, AMI

On 91w I can get a few things - I like Classic Arts
99 and 101 were hit and miss, but mostly because of changes at the uplinks, which seem to fluctuate from time to time.

Couldn’t get ctv2 on 107w,

I will try atlantic satellites for a change.

I've seen this 1.2 meter listed on eBay for a while now. It's $148 (shipping included) from China. I don't need a four footer myself but the price may be right for someone else so I thought it was worth posting. Best price I've seen in the U.S. is around $275 shipped. Obviously it's still best to acquire a used one locally if possible but it is an option. Seller has 100% positive feedback and there are some reviews for it. Three are positive, one is neutral for loose items in the box that damaged the dish in transit. It's not a polar mount but if you're handy you could make one for it. Currently 6 available. If interested better get it before the steel tariffs go into effect. ;)

C Band 120cm (4 feet) Prime focus dish antenna /satellite dish | eBay

I just looked at it a minute ago, now is says $99.00 shipping from outside the U.S. Sadoun Satellite had a similar dish, but it was more expensive. I found a 4 foot offset in Canada for about the same money, but Titanium warned me that it was an El Cheapo that was basically a thin piece of junk, so I strayed away from it. Had it been a good quality dish, it would have been one heck of a deal at $149.00.

You had to go get it. They wouldn't ship it, probably due to damage in shipping. I have a friend that lives within 20 miles of Angel Electronics and he was coming in for deer season and was going to bring it, but I told him to forget it after Titanium's warning. :)

I do not know how much would that cost to ship antenna from UK, but Channel Master 1.2m on original polarmount is much better antenna than many others, Yes, it needs some cleaning, but after that it will look, and most importantly work like new. Buy it now price about 40 bucks. s-l1600a.jpg s-l1600.jpg Add is here

The Lesea mux on 99w booms in here with a 97/94 signal level. If you're only getting a 38/39 on it, you'll be lucky to get anything else on that satellite. It's surprising that you got Decades. I have it coming in on a 7.5 foot dish, along with MeTV, Movies and a few others, and they're not burning the world up as far as signal. Did the Grit MUX scan in on 97W? On 2 of my receivers, I had to add the transponder and scan it in to get it.

You may want to try it. Those have a pretty good signal level on them. :) Those are definitely worth the effort.

You're probably looking at over a hundred bucks to ship it. A little bleach will do wonders for the dirt and mold on it. I just washed my siding down with it. :)

Couldn't the grit mux on 97w either.

Anyone has a strong frequency i could try on 121w?

Looking at the footprint it seems to be pretty strong!

No results for 121w. I managed to get 20% on ewtn dvbs2 , but only 10% on dvbs tp. So no lock (no luck either) for 133w. I’ve taken out the titanium lnb and parked the 4 footer back on 91w for cw and byu.
