the receiver was a 2700....I figured out what the problem was. The guy who installed it was not authorized, he did not install the correct switch or the dish pro adapter. I told him to give me my money back and uninstall everything or fix the issue. He did neither, so i had to call the police...

i did the check switch w/o and with the sat pin....still the same thing...

but the thing is, at my house, with their connections, other receivers are working with 61.5 fine. My receiver is not working on 61.5 it says wrong sat. But when i take my receiver to cousins place, it works fine. someone suggested that they might have installed wrong hardware switches.
