Hello Hopper 3, with wired joeys 2, and 52.0 remote. The joey has software version J272. As I watch a program from OTA channels or satellite channels, pressing the back rewind button EVER SO SLIGHTLY, jumps way back to the beginning of when I tuned to that channel; it's as if I held it down...

The Dish subcontractor came this morning with a very dumbfounded look. Thankfully, he has had other service calls for ota issues, so he wasn't totally clueless. He played with the settings, by scanning the locals, which was unnecessary. He moved the dongle to the usb 3.0 port, and no locals...

My dongle cant get software updates, I think, unless it's done through the hopper and then via usb. What model is the latest one?

Thank you It is not powered and looks like this. I will ask dish to come check it out, but i doubt that they'll come out for ota issues since they don't really support that. Getting to ot myself is tricky since it sits at the highest peak of my 2 story house.

Good point. I'll try to get Dish to dix it, though they don't support OTA much, if any. Good theory, but when it's happened, I haven't been recording a sat channel. And the error message clearly states that I the signal to channel 006 has been lost.

Thanks Bobby It is a roof-mounted antenna that points in the direction of our locals, obviously. It has worked fine for many years, but as of late, it frustrates. On windy days, I assume that it moves up there at the highest point of our two-story house, and thus the signal fails. Perhaps??

Hello Whenever I open an episode in the hbomax app of my Hisense 65h9f tv, the image is zoomed in. I have to backout of the episode, go back in, and the issue gets fixed. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks.

Hey I tried this, but I see that the guide is wrong for one OTA channel. It's my local NBC channel, and it displays the program guide for Telemundo, a sister company.
