    NFL Sunday Ticket in HD

I'm still getting nothing on the HD NFL stations, though all other HD comes in just fine. H20 receiver in central NJ. DTV rep says I need a new dish, but I have a 5-lnb? I'm assuming she's wrong? Any other ideas?

    NFL Sunday Ticket in HD

Anyone else getting "searching for satellite" on the HD Sunday Ticket channels only?

    Local Setup at New Address

Hmm, maybe I'll give that a shot. The single zip code itself is actually split between two markets, so I thought it might be a little easier. So is this my only recourse? This is the most annoying thing about satellite vs. cable: My next-door neighbors watching a game that's blacked out...

    Local Setup at New Address

Wondering if anyone has ever set up service in a zip code that's split between two local markets? When I go to the D* site and enter the zip code I'm moving into, it asks for more information (IE county). Depending on which of the two counties I select, it gives me a different local market...

    MPEG 4 Stuttering?

Same problems here in Philly on CBS and NBC. 8mm effect and unwatchable. Hoping we're on the list for the apparent "fix."

Question about H20/MPEG4 audio sync problem

I just got the H20 today (Philly area) and am initially pretty disappointed. The sound is nowhere near synced to the video on half of the HD locals. Anyone know if this is something sporadic? Bad box? Gulp....normal?

DirecTV to Launch Significantly Viewed DMA service

Has anyone had luck with the D* database yet? I'm still not getting any results at all on that page.

DirecTV to Launch Significantly Viewed DMA service

Yippee! Looks like I'll finally get the NY stations I lost when I switched from cable many moons ago (based on the PDF someone posted). No luck on the D* site yet, though. Looks like it's still unpopulated. Is this still scheduled to go into effect on 11/9? Another question: will...

ESPN HD Blacking Out Periodically - Anyone Else Experiencing This

Same thing has been happening to me on ESPN HD for some time now. About every 5-10 minutes the screen goes black for a second or two. I've also noticed that the sound is sometimes a little "out of sync" with the picture on ESPN HD and Discovery HD. Very disappointing.

Any notice to the 1st 12 markets yet?

I'm in the "first 12" (Philly) but haven't heard a word yet. I'm starting to wonder if the rollout has been pushed back. Anyone else have news?

    Newbie question about baseball blackouts

sgordon77 - I think you're probably stuck with just Flyers. Although you may also get the Devils when they move to Yes Network. We (assuming you're central NJ too) DO get the Nets on Yes, just not the Yanks. Football is definitely my priority, but NFL ST is really the only reason I...

    Newbie question about baseball blackouts

It actually really sucks. I live in Central NJ and have gotten both New York and Philadelphia channels my entire life. With D*, though, I'm locked into Philadelphia channels only (even though I'm virtually equidistant from the two cities). I thought I'd be able to watch the Yankees games...

    New HD-TV Need Suggestions!

I actually have the same question as you. Just bought my first HDTV and am excited to order DirecTV equipment and put it to use! I keep reading about a switch to mpeg-4 coming, though, so I'm really unsure if I should order now. I want to have HD hooked up and running in time for football...
