    Audible Signal Strength

This way I can hear the signal from outside the RV. Higher tone indicates a stronger signal. After finding the signal I then connect my HR 24 - 500...

    HR24-500 with old dish?

Well, at some point one of the fixes fixed the problem. I am now recording 2 programs at one time. I had not checked it after the last couple of changes because it still says "no signal on tuner 2". But it is working. I really appreciate all the help. You guys are great. Thanks so much.

Both cables have a signal. In setup I chose 18" round, multi switch and dual tuner. Any thoughts on...

    HR24-500 with old dish?

I would like to set up an HR24-500 DVR receiver with an old 18" dual output LNB at my cabin. Will I have any issues? Not concerned about lack of HD. Will I be able to record 1 channel only? I don't know a lot about this stuff but I can get a signal with the dish. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
