Powerline ethernet is really iffy, especially depending on how your house was wired (and thus DishComm may be useless).... I've never dealt with the audit team myself, somehow having 2 receivers connected to a phoneline never bugged me, but I KNEW THIS. Big F-ing deal, they're still cheaper...

I had Las Vegas and SF locals both at the same time once for almost a year. I think the standard procedure for "I've moved and want the locals changed" is they only add your new market's locals, they don't get rid of the old ones. Annoying because when I later got fed up of rhte extra $5/month...

The locals are the same locals, lol, I don't know why they'd do that. Out here in Las Vegas some channels show NY and Vegas, a few just show Las Vegas!

I think Dish is particularly obsessed with the midwest region, watch, the first spot beam in the west to go MPEG4 will be the lake tahoe one XD SF Bay's spot beam will go MPEG4 in like.. 2022 or whenever.
