i locked in on the transponder with the research channel and uwtv, and then did a power scan. didn't really have any other channels show up. There were some bad storms in the area before this went out, is it possible that the lnb was damaged and could pick up some transponders and not others...

Thanks to all Guys, Thanks for your help, I finally got around to getting my dish set to 123W. It was tough, for those interested in the performance of the receiver..... I believe the response time on the signal meter was so slow that I would not wait long enough for the signal to register...

I'm not familiar with many systems but the meter is a double bar across the bottom of the screen one for strength and one for quality. It sort of reminds me of the Dish Network meter.
