Does this happen with all programs set up for first runs? Depending on how the programs description info is can determine if it even knows its a first run or not.

You can set it up to record first run only just like the directivo does.

I agree with jvc. This is the most helpful computer forum I've found on the net. They are very helpful and I have never had a problem that they did not solve.

Having a standalone dvd recorder is nice( i have a Panny). But to use it as a dvr is kind of like having a glorified vcr, in my opinion. No wishlists or season pass capibility, which makes the dvr much more user friendly.

I have a directivo and 2 r-15s. All three have been doing a great job. The interface on the 15 takes a bit getting use to but they haven't missed a beat in recording what we have set up.
