There are a lot of different satfinder apps. I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.klk.satfinder from Karsten. Works great on my galaxy nexus.

Try to use the Android Satfinder app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.klk.satfinder . It supports a augmented reality view related to the choosen satellite.
