I resubscribed yesterday to NPS Digital Exclusive pak. They stated this year was the end of c band subscribtions for motorola. Is this true? They tried to push me towards Dishnetwork.

Makes perfect sense, I will give it a try. If this is the case, I can make the ring out of aluminum and this should solve this problem, right?

I read Stogies' post, looked at Nick's pics, and both are for prime focus dish. I am working with a 1.2m Channel Master. Is this even possibe with the BSC621-2 on such dish? I will keep testing until I find the answer. If someone has the answer I will take that, too. lol

I made some 1/2" polycarbonate rings on yesterday. They turn out okay. I, then made the modification to the the bsc621-2. So far no difference. The c band side still works, but the ku is still not working. I think I may be a little off on my focal point on the ku side. I will do some fine tuning...

I am testing a mini Bud. Testing BCS621-2 on 1.2m with sg2100. So, we will see.

Great idea.!!!!! Has anyone had success with this? I will try it this afternoon if the weather permits. I was thinking of using a custom routed ring out of 1/2"or 3/4" polycarbonate and sealing the edges with GE adhesvie silicone to protect from the elements. I hope it works.

I have also located what I think is a BV. It is located is a fenced area owned by a local cable provider. The subsation was purchase by CableOne. They now use fiber optics to deliver serivice to their clients. There are 4 reflectors that are not in use. I am in the process of contacting them to...

I have a 4 footer with a bcs-621-2. I have tried it with scalar and without. I get better signal quality on C band with scalar, but the KU is the same with or without the scalar. :)
