Hard drive upgradeability and/or USB activation for me is the number one issue and if Dish doesn't deliver on it by the end of my current Dish subscription/lease commitment, I'll go with Directv and their HD PVR. Dan

I got Dish w/942 installed today after having Voom and to me the PQ is comparable. The demo channel's PQ, which I presumed is reserved extra bandwidth, looks as good as any HD I've seen with the least motion breakup I've seen from satellite. I agree that SD looks better. Dan
