What level did you get before the switch to E16?

If you are already getting signals on your receiver, go into setup, point dish, set to satellite 72.5 transponder 21 , tweak dish slowly to peak. Do both azmuth and elevation . When you have the highest reading switch to 61.5 transponder 29 tweak slightly to peak . Go baxk to 72.5 and make sure...

There is no need to get a new dish just point using 72.5 and you should be fine . You could further peak 61.5 and just ignore 77. I think the new dish is smaller so would not improve things for you.

I am amazed that you get that high a signal where you are. The spot beam doesn't even get close to you unless the maps on this site are totally wrong. I think someone sid they were wrong but does anyone know the approximate coverage?

I used dishpointer and have good readings except TP13 Are you as far north as Montreal?

That is a good signal level. Are you using a 1000.4 dish?

Back at this again. I have tried to use a 26X24 " oval dish with Legacy LNBF to try to get 61.5 spotbeam TP 13 . Getting max reading on STB of 10. TP 12 is 75 TP14 is 67 TP21 is 78. I thought this dish would improve spotbeam reception but still no go. Is there something funny about this spotbeam??

I am about 100 miles north of you and did not get great results with the 1000.4 EA dish. The maximum reading I could get on the 61.5 TP 13 was 10. Please let me know what reading you got for that TP. Do you get good readings on all transponders on 61.5? How about TP13? I am about as far north as you are but farther west.
