It appears that the settings are different between audio and video. The video setting on auto sets the resolution to the highest the TV can possibly handle; for my living room TV that is 1080p. For audio, it just passes through the highest format your receiver or TV can handle.

Auto video selection? Is that like the audio passthrough?

I did, not in 4K, same as the FBI shows, 1080P. I have my Roku set to Auto, so it will be native, not my first Rodeo, it does not say 4K and is obviously not. I assume it will be in the future.
