I live in metro NY and have been using channels 80, 82, 86 & 88 for CBS, NBC, ABC & FOX in HD. I discovered yesterday that my old channels (those I grew up using) 2, 4, 5 & 7 are also in HD not SD. Has anyone else witnessed this, know anything about this or should I make an appointment with...

Is the satellite at 110* going to be phased out once the new satellite's are up and running? I get pitiful signal strengths in the 50s for that satellite and 90s for the others on a Slimline 5LNB in NY. I do have some neighboring trees that must be blocking that particular satellite.

Is anyone else in the NYC metropolitan area been having NBC-HD signal problems? Either the audio drops, picture scrambles or both every ten minutes or less. No problems on any other channels so I'm blaming NBC. :eek:

Would it kill the company to send us a message about this? They have the feature yet never use it. DUH!

They make the installation of a HR20 seem like you're building a heart bypass machine. I had to wait FOUR months to get mine "professionally' installed because I wasn't allowed yet I ran all the lines, installed the dish, etc. The installer was here less than 20 minutes!

I was just wondering if the latest version is listed somewhere online. For example, my HR20-700 has 0x145. Was just wondering if there was a site online that lists updates and what exactaly that update is supossed to do/ fix. Thanks for trying....guess no such place exists.

Finally! I found the second 622 YES-HD channel. As usual the forum bailed me out not the company who I pay each month.

The techs aren't aware of this because the same thing happened to me last week when I had my 5LNB installed. On the H20-600 he was only getting in the low 70's but after he left I checked it on my HR20-700 they were in the 90's except for the sat at 119 which I have site issues with.

Is there a reliable source/ web site where one can find the most recent firmware update versions or should I just assume that my H20-600 and HR20-700 get the latest versions automatically?

I want the interactive channel feature working on my H20. Hopefully the next firmware update will be well tested!

Why does the H20 show those lower signals? I thought I was seeing things!

How do I go about getting my H20 updated? I would love to have the Interactive Channel ability. Works great on my HR-20.

I'm thinking it might be the tuner because it did the same thing when it was in the bedroom. I always thought it was just a dish allignment issue. Now that I have two HD sets and receivers I made the discovery the picture didn't break up with the receiver/ dvr.

Why in the world would the picture be broken up on channel 95 (Angels vs. Rangers) on one set (with a SONY HD receiver) and not on another (with a HD-DVR) at the same time?:confused:
