    Need help with new install

Its been many years since I was a DISH dealer and I am not up-to-date on the new tech now being used by DISH. We have recently purchased a new home in Florida that we will be using during the winter months only so I will be bringing down south my three receivers and then take them back to...

Using DirecTV 3 lnb dish with DISH 301

It's been a while since I played around with various dish's so just to make sure I don't damage the used 301 receiver I just got I'm going to ask about this. I know I can use a DirecTV single LNB dish with the 301 but what about the DirecTV 3 LNB dish. Are the switches compatible between the...

    Looking for used DISH receiver

Does anyone know of any sponsors here that may have a used unit (BASIC unit) that will last for the winter. If you have not read my OP then please take a look at it before you answer.

    Looking for used DISH receiver

I need to add a VERY low cost receiver to my Dish Network account for about 3 months and don't want to buy a new one for such a short time. I don't need a dish, just the basic (non DVR) receiver and any needed card and remote. I was looking on ebay and one person says the card doesn't matter...

    101 & 105, Are they high power

DAAA for dumb (me), Sorry, it was 99 & 103, but the other question is "does DTV plan on putting any national feeds on 99 & 103, HD or otherwise ?

    101 & 105, Are they high power

It is my understanding that the DirecTV birds at 101 & 105 are medium power birds and not the high power ones like 101,110,119 is this corect ? Also will DirecTV be adding national feeds to these satellites or just use them for spotbeam locals ? Thanks for your help.

Will the 622 work with a legacy quad LNB?

I'm not sure why the 622 is not part of the Tivo lawsuit but in the event my 721 is shut down I will be ordering a 622. Will be needing one soon anyway even without the Tivo crap so I was wondering if it will work with my DISH 500 that has an old legacy quad that is feeding my721 and 5000.

I wish E* would keep hands off the 721

This time I did not even bother to call DISH, since I know I'll just get the same run-a-round. It's too bad that some of us customers have come to the point of just giving up. I am glad I sold all of my DISH stock yesterday before it tanked. Still lost a bundle of money (bought it at 50+) but...

They will have to pry it (721) from my cold dead hands if they plan on adding the DVR fee

I wish E* would keep hands off the 721

I should say "I wish the programmers would keep hands off" the 721. They did it again with the new software upgrade. I was just getting use to the mess they caused a while back with the the old software now I have to go thru all the new bugs again. The worst of them is when I am making a DVD...

RV use for a Dish dummy

I know E* will not support the 4700 any longer because I wanted to re-activate mine a few months ago. What I don"t know is if they still support the 4000.

    Grounding an RV install

Don't bother ...... I don't even like grounding installs on buildings but PLEASE lets not start YET ANOTHER thread about that. This thread does intrigue me though. You are speaking about a fixed location mobile home I believe but what do you grounding fanatics think about grounding motor home...

Keep that DVR, DVD's won't last 5 years

When I first saw this my jaw dropped open. I have about 300 movies that I have burned over the past 3-4 years. I have had a slew of DVD's go bad in the last year but they are all from the same batch of low cost DVD's that I think were bad. I sure hope you guys are right about him being on crack.

Anyone pay their Dish bill with debit card? Extra charge?

We use autopay with credit card and don't pay extra, in fact they bend over backwards to get you to use credit card. Are you sure it's not because you are using a check card (extra charge from your bank)?

Echostar X Arrived at Sea Launch.

E* has in the past put the launch on for everone to see. Its a bit harder to get video of a sea launch but I'm sure Boeing has it available if E* wants it. BTW, I think E* has sent up a bird or two as self insured but I'm sure about that.
