Cineverse's MeatEater on channel 4370 shutdown and was removed.

It's still listed on the Cineverse player, but the schedule is nothing but "To Be Announced" and it just plays a few seconds of video from Monday morning before it stalls.

The announcement also says additional news and sports FAST channels from NBCU are coming soon, including NBC News NOW, NBC Sports NOW, Dateline 24/7 and TODAY All Day

This is just the beginning for NBCUniversal channels joining MyFree DIRECTV. Soon, look for NBC Sports NOW for sports talk and NBC News NOW for the latest headlines and reporting. Additional channels will include Dateline 24/7, and viewers who might miss any of the four hours of the daily "TODAY Show" will get an opportunity to catch up on celebrity interviews, health and wellness and other features via TODAY All Day.

I hate to say it but too many junk channels.

When they added SNL Vault it screwed up my season pass to SNL. Apparently everything on Vault is flagged as new and I had dozens of old SNL shows recording. My pass was set to record new only.

I agree with this 100% but for me a different show. NWA TNA wrestling that is on Axs. With TNA having their own streaming channel I have to delete 10-15 episodes/timers a week.
My locals I record on my TiVo so SNL doesn't affect me on Directv.
I wish some timers we could set it to record a program on a specific channel and not every channel/every time it's on regardless of channel.

The other good example of my post above is when they added ABC News Live on 4007. Since I do not have an OTA ABC I use Directv to record ABC. The show 'What Would You Do?' Is shown ad nauseum on the weekends on 4007 and even though my timer is new only for the shows on ABC it tries to record all the episodes on ABC News Live shows over the weekend.
