AMC11

Adding PIDs is awkward for many receivers. I think I would have to use an external database editor to do it on my Edision. Anyway, I can't receive as far west as 131W.

I assume people could just blind scan if there's something to receive there? What do you get?

I got that transponder as open, but the pids don't match what Lyngsat says.

Probably FNX channel. Probably typos on Lyngsat. Or tp was updated and nobody let Lyngsat know. You could.

On AMC 11 (131W), he's talking about 3780 H 30000. This tp only has Weather Channel and FNX as open. Lyngsat lists FNX with PIDs 2701/2740.

Anyone locked on to AMC, add PID: 2301/2340 for xpndr 3780

Tell me what, if anything ya get.
From what I can tell, there's not much in the line of free stuff. Mostly Nagravision, Power VU, Digicypher 2, Viaccess or Biss Key encryption.

I think the Weather Channel is an occasional feed. I don't have a dish aimed at it any longer. Moved it to greener pastures.

Not sure what FNX is, but it would have to be pretty darn special before I'd dedicate a BUD to it for one channel.
