I need some advice. I live in a rural setting and I have one choice of a internet provider which in Frontier DSL. To make a long story short, my DSL service isn't very reliable so I need an alternative to be able to call/text when it is down. I purchased a cell phone booster a couple of years ago but never really fooled with until today. I am getting 5 bars with it but sometimes I can not make calls or text with it. Receiving data is intermittent also. Is this normal? I am doing something wrong? I have ATT service and I have zip code is 45682 and I have a iPhone 6s Plus. Thanks guys.

Yeah, I knew before I bought it that it does not support LTE. I primarily just wanted something that would allow me to get enough signal to make/receive calls and text. Thanks man for the reply. I love living in the country but just wish I had access to a little better technology.

Call your cell phone company, and ask THEM what they recommend for boosters in your area. There's so many of them, why buy over and over when there might be a specific one they'll recommend that's best for you?

Got it to work perfectly. I played around with the antenna position (apparently my closest cell phone tower isn’t where I thought it was) and I moved the inside box further away from the antenna. I’m not getting blazing data speed but some is better than none. I might upgrade one day to a better box to get LTE. I now wonder if there is a way to strengthen the signal inside the house. Thanks guys for the input.
