Not when he doesn't know how to use them/connect them or has to go back to the shop to get one (it's very possible he doesn't have one on his truck).

I was just reading the specs on the H3 and it looks like it was supposed to come with the 50.0 touchpad voice remote. The tech gave me a 52. Is that right? BTW, found out he also stole my tape measure. What a douchebag. Not only did he cut every corner he could, he is also a thief!

That's a shame. There should be no technical reason that it not work.

I transferred all my recordings from my 622 to the HWS without incident despite Dish support insisting it couldn't be done. However, that was 2 years ago and they might have imposed some DRM stuff since then.

Called CS and they are sending me a 50 remote free of charge. I have to say, despite the lazy installer I had, Customer Service has been top notch this time around. I really like the H3 and it is much faster than previous Hoppers. Plus, only having to run one feed from the dish is much easier, and on par with DTV's single feed system.

By the way, HOLY COW!, we thought people were price gouging OTA adapters; somebody is selling a 50.0 remote on Ebay for $332. Who on God's green earth would pay that?!
