Can anyone tell me on what satellite I could possibly find a Digicipher I channel, so that I can test out a receiver? I looked on lyngsat, but couldn't find any.

I've used a Primestar receiver. I haven't connected it in quite a while since there are so few Digicipher 1 feeds.

I tried using a Primestar receiver many years ago to get DC-1, never did get it to work right. That was years ago when there was a bit more DC-1 in the sky. Now I don't even know if there's anything left in DC-1 worth watching.

Took the AC line choke out of it and tossed the receiver after my experiment.

I will try using Galaxy 16 for the digicipher I signals.

I am testing a General Instrument DSR-2200 digicipher receiver.

Does anyone know how the side edge connector behind the door was used?

There was a sidecar that was to be connected to it to use digichipher II signals. Primestar had plans of going Digichipher II before the went bankrupt.
Im trying to find a primestar receiver so I can take the guts out of a dead 4dtv and use the primestar to get ITC digicipher II feeds

Primestar also planned on using the smaller DBS satellite dishes like Dish Network and DirecTv used back then.

What's the limit on the number of satellites for a Coolsat 5000?
