HomeRun Flex 4K

Did a fresh scan today with the HDHM flex, picked up two more channels. Can't wait to get the 91 Yagi up on a pole instead of under my covered porch.

Yes good news, 3 weeks to light up 3.0 here. UHF 35 pegs the meter here.
Preliminary reports now indicate ATSC 3.0 will launch live in the Upstate on June 2nd, with WMYA-40 serving as the Lighthouse signal on RF35. So this may help with the WLOS reception issue in the Upstate, since WMYA is often easier to receive than RF13. So if you already receive DABL on the old 40.1, then you should easily receive the upgraded NextGen signals, which will include WLOS, WHNS, WYFF, and WSPA. Sinclair is a leading proponent of NextGen TV, so the upgrade of RF35 was predicted. And they had already moved the old My40 signal to 13.2 and switched DABL to 40, although this was more of a cable carriage move.

Well I just responded to a PM from Harshness that said you can not record from the flex 4k. Can't wait to hear his smart ass reply. In this thread we said channels DVR is great. It give a fully record able guide.

You certainly can. Either with SiliconDust's own $35 dvr solution which is just for guide data, & turning on the recording feature and then you plug in a USB drive directly into the back of the HDHR 4k Flex, or ChannelsDvr (better solution), or Plex, or Emby, or all sorts of other solutions...

Channels DVR also allows you to record from cable channels, paid streaming channels, .m3u channels, even FTA channels from my Edision Mio, if I chose to do that.
