Las Vegas users Dead Air

On the way home from work yesterday I had plenty of disruptions, I take a different way home than when I go in. Today I don't remember one disruption. So maybe I just had to deal with it while T-Mo did their fine tuning. I guess I'll find out Monday morning.

No need for a ground repeater in the desert

Sent from my SM-G950U using the SatelliteGuys app!

Which is relevant how to your comment about most repeaters being in tunnels? Which is false.

And please provide some facts to back up your statement about most ground repeaters being shut down after the merger.

the ones I am aware of are xm repeaters...they are in dead zones..usually in high volume areas where satellite reception is blocked...I know Sirius had a bunch back in the day because their satellites constantly moved..I never had a sirius car radio..on the XM radios..you get a Icon saying ground repeater..the only time I ever saw the Icon was a long tunnel in baltimore.I also know the big dig in boston has several..and maybe the lower level of the george washington bridge had a couple..I know there were only about 800 repeaters in existence...being that las vegas is in a flat desert I think you would be hard pressed to find one there

My 300 uses Sirius tech, and when I first got it, the dropouts just driving around town made it just about useless. Every bridge I drove under caused a dropout. Any obstruction nearby, such as a dense forest, caused a dropout. But now, that almost never happens. I can even listen to the radio in my 6-level parking garage at work, except in the deepest ground-level at the very back (which is basically underground). I think they added a lot of terrestrial repeaters in the Washington DC area. The only other barely plausible explanation is that Chrysler fixed a bug in my radio. But I doubt it.

2013 Ram 1500 cannot refresh Sirius channels.

Why pay for radio
