If I get a region-free Blu-ray player, do I need to get a region free TV on top of that?

Okay, so eventually I plan to get a region free Blu-ray 3D player so I can buy international discs. But I don't know if they make region-free 3D HDTVs or even plain HDTVs and if they do, would I need that on top of that? If I got a region-free Blu-ray 3D player, would that be all I need? I don't want to cough out any more money than I need to.

Yep just a region free Blu-ray player is all that is needed.

Keep in mind that most of the Blu-ray discs out there (around 70% I've heard) are region-free.
Most studios don't enforce region coding.
