For the few of you who may own a Zenith R57W46 57" RPTV.
Problem: 1080i pictures shifted left 2-4"
Resolution: Access the Service Menu, adjust Raster.
How: On TV, press and hold Menu button. After 60 secs or so, press Menu button on remote. Service menu will appear. (You may have to try this a couple of times, the menu can be a bit reluctant to come up).
There are many settings you can adjust, but the 'Raster' setting (first menu item) will allow you to align the picture correctly.
You MUST use controls on tv, NOT remote to change settings.
Up / Down = Channel
Left / Right = Volume
** Exercise caution when changing any of these settings **
Zenith would not help. Directed me to a local Service Center. They wanted to charge for pick-up to take tv to center plus a minimum $300-$400 charge for analysis. No thank you!
I was able to fix the problem in less than 5 minutes using this method.
