It's no secret that director Zack Snyder was taking a page from Frank Miller's "Dark Knight Returns" for the version of Batman Ben Affleck will be playing in Warner Bros. incoming "Batman v Superman" film. But now new images have arrived online showing how that transformation went from conception to on screen superhero.The following design images for the latest screen Batman were created for costume designer Michael Wilkinson by conceptual artist Jerad S. Marantz.Marantz shared the images on his Facebook account, saying, "Finally get to show these! Here are some of the images that I painted for Batman versus Superman. I was fortunate enough to spend a bit of time on all of the characters, but was lucky enough to be able to focus on Illustrating the new Batman costume with the incredible costume designer Michael Wilkinson. This was a childhood dream come true."
