For the past week or so I have noticed that when ever I try to watch anything off of youtube it will only play in the lowest resolution. It doesn't matter if I am connected to my home network or work network with my laptop. I keep getting an error message. I currently am running windows 8.

I am using IE. I know everyone tells me to use chrome or firefox, I personally don't like either of them. The videos were working fine in IE until about a week or so ago.

Have you installed any new programs lately? I had this problem a while back, most of the time when I went fullscreen on youtube it would freeze for various amounts of times. I went through my installed programs and uninstalled a bunch of them that I didn't use and didn't need, problem solved on all browsers.
