Yet another use for a primestar dish

Actually people have been doing this for years now, and are able to send WI-FI signals from one place to another as far as 2 miles.. :shocked
 
Could you use a surplus dish to transmit FTA to a neighbor? Of course they'd have to watch what you wanted, but my neighbor and I share entertainment tastes.

If you used a separate dish for the neighbor, he or she would be able to watch channels independently from your channels, provided they had a receiver.

For legal purposes, I wouldn't distribute a satellite signal past my property line though... Copyright issues.
