WASHINGTON, Sept. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- XM Satellite Radio, the nation's leading satellite radio company with more than 4.4 million subscribers, today announced it will be the exclusive live radio broadcaster of the "From the Big Apple to the Big Easy" concert for Hurricane Katrina relief at Madison Square Garden in New York City on September 20.

Artists scheduled to appear include Dave Matthews, Simon and Garfunkel, Elton John, Lenny Kravitz, Jimmy Buffet, Cyndi Lauper, Bette Midler, John Fogerty, Diana Krall, the Neville Brothers, the Meters, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and several others.

"From the Big Apple to the Big Easy" will be broadcast live and nationwide on XM Live (XM Channel 200) on Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm ET.
