XM to be standard equipment for Hyundai

XM announced a deal with Hyundai where all Hyundai vehicles will have XM installed as standard equipment.

I think this is a pretty good deal. Hyundai is a fast growing company and are finally starting to loose that rep of the throw away car. I also think this is the first deal where Sat radio is standard equipment on all models across the board.

This great news for XM and satellite radio in general. The next step to becoming standard in all models and makes has been accomplished. And my securities account had a very good day today on this news and the news of Sirius and Mecedes and Land Rover. Satellite radio IS becoming mainstream.
