XM signs Opie and Anthony

Nothing has been offically announceed by XM but I got this email this morning. This really sucks since I just got in on that Sirius deal here. Looks like I will have both now.

Hey guys! It's official ANthony and I have signed with XM Satellite Radio and
we couldn't be happier! This is the natural next step for our show. We get our
freedom back to do a funny, clever, entertaining and at times (wink wink) edgy
show that our fans have enjoyed for the past 10 years! We're still figuring out
all the details but we'd like to broadcast our first show in over 2 years live
from a venue to be named later on October 1st! It's going to be a huge
celebration. Until then we plan on traveling the country visiting our fans to
personally thank them for their support and turning them on to the excitement of
XM Satellite Radio!

Please join us today at noon at the Hard Rock Cafe on 57th street between 7th
avenue and Broadway as we field questions from the media.........UGH! Beer will
flow!

Finally, I want to take this time to thank our fans for their continued support
over the past 2 years. Because of you the Opie and Anthony show never
officially went away. The amount of O&A material that continues to be traded on

I figured out late last night they were going to XM when they introduced their new logo and it was the XM Degisgned Logo with Q&A in the Middle ((( O&A )))

Lets hope they don't move the Monsters though, I love that show!

Its on Xm site now they are charging $1.99 a month for the O and A channel 202 that is going to replay the show plus best of throughout the week and weekend. Luckily I found a great deal on a roady Looks like I'll have XM in my car and my wife will have Sirius

I guess I'm in the dark because most of our stations have local morning shows...the only one that is syndicated is Bob & Tom (and thats on a station 50 miles from where I live)

They are shock jocks that were the next hot thing until some say they went to far with a contest that was sponsored by Samuel Adams
