Starting to look like another wave on receiver clones hitting the market.For less than $50 it would be worth a chance!But i have a feeling support will be nothing like the great service the microhd has.

I would agree on the support part, but for me it is EXCITING to see these new receivers which can help spark more interest in TRUE FTA Satellite!

Wow hard choice between this and the Sunstar I posted about for $44. The wifi, youtube, and multiple file type playback support may give the edge to this one.

Well, remember it's a receiver first.
Anything else is gravy.

Over recent years, people have put up with unresolved bugs 'n grumbles on some bargain receivers.
So, support will be essential when problems show up.

Nobody has brought a bugless receiver to market.

The venerable Coolsat 5000 & 6000 didn't get SOME mods 'n fixes 'till well after production ceased, and 3rd party developers had a go at it!

if it has an rs232 port there is the possibility of loading other brand of firmware,especially if the firmware isn't encrypted.
