WWE Satellite Feeds

No DIRECTV is like cable TV. There are no "wild feeds" on DIRECTV.

With a real Free to Air Satellite system, you MIGHT catch some WWE wild feeds, but as of late most have been scrambled.

Thanks for the welcoming. So is it possible to get WWE feeds in NY really? And how does it all work? I'm new to satellite related things and so far it's really cool and advanced.

It is no different then having catv or other wired type services to your house. Again, as for getting WWE feeds, there is no way with DirecTV or Dish to get those.

You would have to have what is called a BFD or Big F'ng Dish, which was the old school way of pulling in Satellite feeds. In other words, those dishes you see around that are like ten feet or more across, you would need one of those, along with the appropriate hardware.

For the majority of feeds, they are sent via Fiber Optic as a IP feed from places like Football, Hockey, Baseball stadiums, where they are going to transmit every week from, to keep it as private and secure, without putting it out in the air.

Again, DirecTV is just another way of getting the same type of services and a little extra like the NFL Sunday Ticket, through a small dish to the home or business, to be watched through a Set Top Box or DVR; which minus the Sunday Ticket, that you do not get with FiOS, CATV, U-Verse, etc., through wired connections.

Does WWE even broadcast anything via cband? or BFD....

On a side note, if you sub to dtv, im pretty positive all packages include both USA and SYFY for Raw and Smackdown respectively. So you should have what you need on channels 242 and 244.

They do on C-Band, and Ku AsiaSat. The problem is that they scramble the feed, so you will not get anything but a bunch of jumbled up pixels, unless you have the right equipment.

No one on here is going to give you info on Deciphering/DeScrambling the signal.
