Says it only gets 1080p. What happens if your TV station 180 miles away broadcasts in 720P? Maybe there is a mod for that?
:)

Wow there are Eleven TV markets within 180 miles from me with at least one TV station,I would give up my DirecTV lol.....
yeah there is probably 7 or 8 markets that are within 180 miles of me....the stations may not be (Fargo, Duluth).
I would need to get a couple more Tivo's then!

Its funny seeing the Amazon reviews.....people praising it and they live.....ahem...... 20-30 miles away from the stations

Well, I bet you can get 180 miles. Put it on top of a mountain, say Pikes Peak and point it at Cheyenne. Probably not a good example, as the Denver stations are almost in a direct line. But when I lived in Fort Collins, I used to get pretty reliable reception with a modest antenna from the Lookout Mountain stations in Golden. Many could be received with rabbit ears.

All a matter of height/line of sight and sufficient xmitter power.

Here is the latest they stared advertising for yesterday, same as one of the other models but with a new name:
