JERICHO, N.Y., December 13, 2004 – WorldSport HD, the 24/7 hi-definition sports channel featuring sporting events from around the world, has acquired the exclusive hi-definition US broadcast rights to Euroleague Basketball, one of the world's most electrifying and popular international professional sports leagues. Beginning in January 2005, WorldSport HD will present a LIVE "Euroleague Game of the Week" throughout the remainder of the regular season and extensive post-season broadcasts highlighted by complete coverage of the Final Four in Moscow taking place May 6-8, 2005. The action will tip-off January 6, 2005 with top ranked Montepaschi Siena vs the 2004 World Champion Maccabi Tel Aviv. WorldSport HD is available exclusively on the VOOM hi-definition satellite service.

JERICHO, N.Y., December 15, 2004– WorldSport HD, the 24/7 hi-definition sports channel featuring sporting events from around the world, has acquired the exclusive hi-definition US broadcast rights to the 2004-2005 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships – marking the first-time this internationally renowned tournament will be broadcast in hi-def. For hockey fanatics left in the dark with the NHL’s current lockout, WorldSport HD’s tournament coverage will represent the only place fans can turn to for non-stop, hockey coverage as the channel will spotlight all 21 games of the competition. The channel’s 2004-2005 World Junior Hockey Championship coverage will debut Christmas night (December 25th) at 8:30 PM (ET) with live coverage of the United States taking on Russia. Hey, Sean, thanks for the news. We're not big sports fans but I'd
imagine the additions particularly of junior hockey will help more
people learn about VOOM.
