WNGS has a new ID

Flipped on WNGS to watch Wildside wrestling (ok...now its called NWA Anarchy) but I noticed in the corner it now says "RTN 11"

Checked out something and yep, WNGS is channel 11 on Buffalo cable

There are only a few Equity stations with channel ID's on screen

KWWF (UPN 22)
KWBF (WB42)
KWBM (WM31)
WNGS (RTN 11)

The rest just say "RTN" or UPN

It had to start recently as last Saturday it didnt have that on the screen

I love the RTN channels.

I now have a dish LOCKED on G10R.

I can't wait to watch RTN! I LOVE those shows! Back when TVLand first came out, they actually had good shows on there

Did a little checking and Equity & the owner of the ABC affiliate in Buffalo have an agreement for advertising. You'll see ads for Ch 7 (ABC) on WNGS and coming soon...the 11:00 late news on 7 will be repeated at midnight on WNGS

Also (and W Tracy this one is mainly for you), ABC 7 has WNGS on the 2nd subchannel of it DT signal (7.2) along with 67

According to the Equity website these channels are coming soon. I just hope they appear on KU band FTA satellite like the others.

The Mpls one is weird...they already own WUMN (Univision) and low powered channel 7 which is Daystar. Minneapolis has TWO Daystar stations
Channel 7 which is owned by Equity (and is a whopping 405 watts)
Channel 62 which is owned by Daystar

so I dont know what they would add (maybe they'll use Daystar...I'd be stoked for RTN)

I just hope they add KELM-LP from Reno, NV, and I hope they have a agreedment to carry any tape delayed local news from any of local Reno TV stations!

They better be on G-10 KU or any KU band satellites.

Since my uncle lives in Lake Tahoe, NV and I go there every year.

Now I just have to wait and see what's happen next......:

They just had an add for Magnum P.I. on WNGS on WKBW 7 a few minites ago. I get WKBW on my cable, but not WNGS
They have a DVD menu about once a month. (at least from my recordings of a few shows)

Larry are you not in Buffalo proper? I know they're on Channel 11 in Buffalo but outside of that I don't know abouot cable carriage

I don't know if that list means much.I have seen that on the website since December.

exactly john green..and even if they add stations, the affiliations are slim pickens in most areas

It woud be something ethnic (Univision, Telefutura) or RTN
