Will we ever see MRV (or anything similar)?

I've got an HR20 and 2 HR21s around the house now, and sometimes I'd LOVE to have MRV. Is there a chance we'll ever see it or something similar?

It's said to be very high on the D* priority list. There are several threads on the subject if you want to read further what has been said in the past. I can't say I've followed it closely myself, I just know I see the subject come up often. I'd love to see it myself!
