Will the 942 work with two uhf pro remotes?

I'm getting a 942 installed this weekend. I know that the 942 comes with remote (one) ir only and remote (two) uhf pro. I have my components in a cabinet with no glass doors so it won't function with a normal ir remote. Just wondering if I can replace the 942 ir remote (one) with another dish uhf pro remote. The 2nd remote will be used for a bedroom tv about 40 feet away. Thanks in advance.

I do belive that the 942 should support UHF Pro remtoes. All the other dual tuners do, I would be suprised if it did not.

I current use 2 UHF remotes for 942 (3 if you count the ir as well). IR remote and 1- UHF remote in room with receiver & TV1, 2nd UHF (pro 8.0) in room with TV2.

yes.there is a selection in the menu to enable UHF PRo on remote 1.

My 924 came with one IR and one UHF, But I am really insterested in
getting one more UHF , Where can I get for good price ?,


Could you please tell how I can enable TV1 to respond to UHF remote ?,
I too have glass door and can make IR receiver respond well.
