Will a 40.0 Remote work on a VIP 211 receiver

My parents have a VIP 211 receiver with a 20.0 remote control. The buttons are wearing out and it needs to be replaced. I have a few extra 40.0 remotes laying around and need to know if they will control the VIP 211. I have tried to search this forum and google to now avail.

No you need either a 21 or a 20 remote.
