I am moving to a rural area without access to cable (yea! I am going back to Dish) nor access to DSL. I checked with a local Wild Blue retailer and he told me that Wild Blue is not taking on new customers as the satellite is "full". I assume he/they mean that current subscriber levels have filled capacity of the bird.
At any rate, I also heard that Wild Blue will be lofting a new satellite later this year. Any insider information available here about when that might occur?
Good news about my move is that I will be going back to Dish. Bad news is that broadband internet is not in my immediate future.
