Twice in the last 2 weeks, as I was watching "Lost" while recording "Hustle," my HD DVR crashed when I tried to check the Weather widget during a commercial break. Happened when I pushed "Exit" on the remote after no widget appeared at the bottom of the screen. Missed 3-5 minutes of live & recorded programming while the box rebooted itself. Years of fairly-stable Scientific-Atlanta HD cable DVR use had spoiled me to expect more than Verizon's buggy Motorola box can deliver.
