Why "Esquire" TV Network signed off????

"Ceased Operation".

This is the first time I've seen a national network signed off.
Most networks usually don't sing off, because they makes lots
of money with cable TV and satellite TV providers.

What happen to this major network, "Esquire"????

I remembered watching "Back to the Future" marathon
on October 15, 2015 as their 30th anniversary of "Back to the Future II" movie.

Now "Esquire" is gone.

Who's next????

I hope CNN, CNBC and MSNBC, because of "FAKE NEWS"!!!!
Hahahahahaa. : - ))))

It was announced many months ago Esquire was going away. At least one channel has permanently signed off (with no rebrand, no direct replacement) the last handful of years, most of them being part of the NBC U family

ZDTV->TechTV merged with G4 ->G4TechTV->G4 -> RIP 2014
World Championship Sports -> Universal Sports -> RIP 2015
Newsword International -> Current -> Al Jazeera America -> RIP 2016
Halogen TV merged with Documentary Channel -> Pivot TV -> RIP 2016
Trio ->Seleuth->Cloo -> RIP 2017
Style -> Esquire -> RIP 2017

And then there was CNN SI in 2002, Lime TV, Wedding Central and FearNet was somewhat merged with Chiller which is on life support and probably won't be around next year this time.

There was nothing major about esquire. It was a low rated barely viewed channel of NBCUniversal repeats. Which is why NBCU shut it down and made it online only and moved what little sought after programming to other NBCU networks. Hence Team Ninja Warriors move to USA Network. Same for Chiller. Viacom should do the same for all the various MTV networks. Way past time to trim the fat of useless networks of media group repeats

You might force a cableco or satco to carry it, but you can't force an advertiser to buy ads on something few watch.
