I just got off the phone with a CSR who tells me that there aren't any issues with 129 on a dish 1K on the west coast. That he speaks to thousand of people a month and has not once heard of any problems with reception.

Do they trained to be like this or are they really that dense?

Set up your video camera on the signal strength display and video the 129 signal fading and coming back, like a yo yo. I wonder if they'd pay you $10 for that one? You could do a voice over saying how much you like Dish Network. I talked with a tech that was having me report the signal strength and while we talked it went from 48 to 72 and back down again :(

I'm trying to watch Rollerball (original version) on FilmFest as I type this and I'm getting blocking, freeze frames and the occasional lost signal box. This is on my 942 with a D1000 and it is presently partly-cloudy, not raining... The other night, I was attempting to watch An American Werewolf in London. That proved to a complete exercise in futility. Blocking and freezing every 2-3 minutes...it was unwatchable...

Mine isn't quite that bad, but it's diabolical.
It waits until the climax of the movie where something is going to be revealed or solved and then freezes up. !sadroll
Actually my 129 cycle time is about 10-15 minutes, but I've never actually timed it out
