Who's up for a timer set-up question?

So when you use the "search" function for say "jonny" and there is a series it finds called jonny quest (which is what my kids want recorded)...

How can you set the time to record the series, but not the duplicates within the series?

Under seek, set it for new and reruns. It should record everything but not duplicate episodes. That's if the program info is correct.

Yep, all of the old Jonny Quests are off the Boom network - no new episodes. But I didn't want duplicate reruns recorded

As long as the episode info is there, Dish's dvr does not record duplicates. They will be skipped as long as you leave the recordings on the hard drive. There is usually some passage of time before the dvr will record them after they are deleted.
