Need help have Traxis 3500 when downloading channels it will say space is full no one knows why this is happening. i do not have that many channels in the reciever. help whitestone

I have no experience with the Traxis 3500, but on the the receivers I am familiar with there is an option to return the memory to factory settings. You will lose any changes you have made, but if you are suffering from some kind of memory overload it should help that.

As far as the firmware is concerned there should be a place in your menus where you can determine what version number your firmware is, the manufacturer usually has a support page on their factory website where you can see if you have the latest version.

Maybe someone here with a Traxis 3500 can get a little more specific for you.

Mine's in the storage shed, where I keep it, for aiming dishes lol. Here's the note from the manual about factory defaulting the 3500:
Select Tools from main menu, scroll down to Default Value,, it will ask for password (0000), enter that, it will erase all the unused transponders that are clogging up your memory. And everything else you have stored, so you will have to rescan all sats once you do this. The rec will be as it came new from dealer.
