Hi All,

I noticed that there are two different types of lnbs, it seems, for the Superdish. The one on the right has a 'curved' bracket. What is the difference, which is best to use? Thanks.

the one on the right with the curved bracket was used on the early fiberglass superdishes and the one on the left was used on the steel dishes that came out later.
both are fss bandstacked lnbs and will work with fta

Here are a few pics of what I did with my super dish. It is pointed at 72W and works very well. I also put some super glue on lnb and bracket just so it wouldn't slip after I got it lined up. That is the original bracket that comes on the dish. I just looked through my collection of lnb's and found one with that long throat which was an 1/8" from the original lnb's position.

. . . and for anyone who may read this thread later, the original LNB, marked with the FSS sticker, would work too.
LO is 10750, but it's bandstacked.
There are some models with tall oval horns, which may match the wide elliptical dish a little more optimally.

...well, after 20 minutes looking for this picture on the forum, I've decided to just post it again.
it's the tall oval feedhorn mentioned above.
