Which DVB should I get?

Ok well, I have my dish ( a fortec star 90cm dish (not bad for 50 bucks i guess)). Im going to be connecting to Intelsat Americas 5, and the guy that knows about the dish says that I should get this SatCruiser 101+. I don't mind it, but its like 150 and then with shipping, its like 180! (btw, im cheappp).

Now heres the thing, the guy i bought my dish from is selling a pansat dvb, but i dont know how much it is or the model. I'm wondering, what would you guys go for, a pansat or a satcruiser? thanks!

Pansat, Fortec and Coolsat are probably the favorites of most here. Should have blind scan capability whichever you choose.

What doeds blind scan do? just scans the whole sat.?

Yes, it will scan all TPs on a satellite making it easy to find new channels, which is good since FTA changes often. The 2700A has blind scan (smart search).

Most receivers come with blind search (smart scan, smart search. NOT: sat-search, automatic search, network search, network scan, or satellite scan). The Traxis DBS3500 will be coming out early part of 2006. I've been pretty happy with variouse models of the Traxis receivers and I'm sure that their blind search model will be one of their high end receivers.
