Which do I need - 1 Hopper/3 Joeys or 2 Hopper/2 Joeys?

Sorry if this has already been asked on here (although I'm sure it has). I searched but didnt find anything. I tried asking a CSR, but either she seemed confused and only confused me even more.

We have 4 HDTVs in the house but only 3 people living here, so only 3 TVs will be in use at any one time. What would be my ideal setup? If all 3 of us are watching a separate show, we could not record a 4th channel with a 1H/3J setup, correct?

Trust me. You will regret anything but the 2H/2J, even if Dish jacks up the Hopper fee over the Joey. And, "correct." You want 3 sat tuners or 6? And as stated, same monthly fees. Currently.

I just spoke to someone at DISH about going 2H/2J instead of 1H/3J and he told me the two Hoppers cant "talk" to each other, so it wouldn't be much different than having 2 DVRs. Any truth to this?
