Which dish should I be getting (Pittsburgh HD)?

Installer is coming out tomorrow to upgrade me to HD with 722 reciever. I currently have a 508 and a Dish 500. According to the chart on "EKB: Dish Types" he should be installing a "Plus Dish" correct?

D1000+ (110, 118.7, 119, and 129)

for channels 2,4,11 and 53 in hd you will need to get the 118.7 location..according to what I see it says 1000+and 500, for this install..

After seeing the new 1000.4 yesterday, maybe you should see if you have LOS in the eastern sky.. But for now i would think its going to be the 1000 Plus.

Why would a D500 (presumably for the 61.5) be needed? Are there some exclusive programming on the 61.5 that the 118.7 and 129 do not get?

Thanks guys. I just wanted to make sure I was getting the 1000+. Didn't want him telling me he was hooking up to separate dishes to get all 4 locations.

So let's see if I have this right. IF I get a 1000+ and only have the one 722 reciever. There would be an exteral switch and I would only need one wire running from it to the 722 or would there be two wires?

One wire...presumably the installer will install a DPP44 switch.

I had this upgrade done in March in WASHPA. Dish 1000+ and DPP44 switch.
