Where'd the Technical Forum Go?

Is my 'puter messed up? I'm not seeing the technical help forum anymore, just DirecTV and the CE forums.

Oops.. I just scrolled down and saw the other post about this.... Bummer. I'm gonna miss the Tech forum.

I agree that it is a good change, alot of times I forgot to check the tech forum, and there is lots in that area I could help with.

None of the threads went away, they were all moved to this main forum.

I like it combined! I never looked in it because I didn't feel it was worth the extra click.

I'm glad it was merged as well, I did look in it regularly and posted as well, however in some cases you may have a situation where you don't know which forum to put you issue in, the regular forum or the Tech side.

As others have mentioned, it didn't get viewed quite as much, I think the major posters in the D* section did reply in it, it will still make it easier this way.

One problem was when someone would start a thread stating the same thing in both sides, people would reply in one and the poster wouldn't see the reply because they were looking in the other location.

I prefer it this way. I love those juicy "I can't peak my dish" threads.

I just come on the site and do "New Directv Posts", so it doesnt bother me
