Where to Buy a New HD Receiver

Hi, should I buy a receiver from Directv or go through another site like solidsignal? I need directv to come out to install it in my master bedroom. Will they still come out and install even if I buy a brand new box from another website?

and directv come and installed it, but i was a new customer

I'm already customer. Just wanted to buy and add another receiver. I need Directv come out to install it because the room has never had Directv only cable. Just wanted to know what's the best way of doing this.

Nope. I bought my HR24 from Amazon and they came and installed it for $49. They also added a SWM16 switch that costs around $200.00 free of charge.

Thanks for the help everyone. I ordered H24 from Solid Signal. I called Directv and they ended up charging me the $49, but credited it to me back on my bill. Having it installed Monday.
